Grenoble, January 4th<\/sup> 2015 \u201c EnerBee, the French startup that has invented and developed an unparalleled-worldwide micro-generator to replace smart-object batteries, will showcase the world’s premier\u00a0battery less\u00a0 wireless module for rotary dimmers at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas 2016.<\/strong>\u00a0EnerBee was founded in Grenoble (France) in 2014. It has developed a ground-breaking micro generator \u201c the world\u2122s only device that can efficiently harvest energy from small and slow motions to power smart objects, and thus eliminate batteries.\u00a0Eliminate batteries in smart-home remote controls.<\/strong>\u00a0In Spring 2015, the company had achieved to develop the world\u2122s first rotary light dimmer demonstrator working without batteries nor power cables. EnerBee\u2122s demonstrators had already retained the attention of many dimmer and smart lighting manufacturers, demanding battery less solutions for residential or commercial smart lighting markets. Today the EnerBee team presents the integration of this breakthrough technology into a turn-key rotary dimmer product for switches and smart light manufacturers. The Dimmer Module includes EnerBee\u2122s multi-patented micro-generator, mechanical gearing and a wireless radio emitter, enabling manufacturers with fast and efficient integration in their products. EnerBee\u2122s micro-generator uniqueness relies on its ability to convert the simple act of turning the dimmer knob to produce electricity. That electricity is then used to send commands and wirelessly control lights, that will either be switched on, off, or change their intensity.<\/p>\n

Joining the Zigbee alliance<\/strong>\u00a0The EnerBee Dimmer Module uses ZigBee communication protocol which makes it compatible with awide range of smart light bulbs and solutions available on the marketplace.
