Responsible for ensuring the on-time delivery of Matter specifications and Member-defined activities in accordance with the Alliance\u2019s Organizational Processes and Procedures.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Program Director will coordinate monthly reports to the Alliance Board of Directors for Matter technical, certification, and marketing activities, which are measured against the Working Group Steering Committees\u2019 roadmap and related schedules. Further, the Program Director will also establish best practices for program administrative support, including budgeting process, meeting management and support, document management, minutes, voting rights, balloting, and leadership election administration while preserving the established self-serve structure already in place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:21px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Track and monitor milestones and goals set for each sub-group and activity in marketing, certification, and technical activities. Identify and confirm new or updated milestones and\/or goals, adjust for any changes with constant communication and alignment with the internal team.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oversee the activities of the Matter Alliance team, and ensure that the Matter project records (meeting minutes, action items, documents, meeting schedules, agendas, attendance, voting rights and elections) are compliant with the applicable Alliance Governance documents (Certification Policy, IPR Policy, Organizational Processes and Procedures) as well as the Matter approved Charter.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attend and coordinate Matter Steering Committee meetings and ensure a constant communication flow with the Alliance team.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop a system of metrics to assist Matter in evaluating and monitoring the performance of their marketing, technical, and certification groups.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oversee management and maintenance of the Alliance\u2019s tools that support Matter technology development, launch, quality, and security (GitHub, Atlassian, DCL, Slack). Manage outsourced projects to develop and\/or enhance new tools.\u00a0 Establish and ensure best practices are followed in the use and management of these tools. Evaluate and recommend improvements to Matter support tools.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate with the Matter Steering Committee on the annual budget request based on established project schedules and related resource requirements in partnership with the Heads of Finance, Marketing, and Certification.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be the operational glue for peers and the Alliance Staff Leadership team to orchestrate internal activities to achieve Matter deliverables on time and reporting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work towards achieving SMART Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) focused on ensuring effective and efficient communication of critical items and assisting the Matter SC achieve delivery of specifications on time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform other related duties as assigned and approved by the CEO.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Travel: Attend regional Matter ad hoc in-person meetings and Member in-person meetings as required (up to 25% travel covering both domestic and international travel).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:21px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Education: BSc\/BA in management, engineering, or a relevant field; MSc\/MA is preferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience: Seven (7) or more years of related Project Management experience.
