This role is ideal for a finance professional with 5+ years of hands-on experience in accounting and a solid background in Finance or Accounting. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in overseeing and improving day-to-day financial operations including AR, AP, payroll, and month-end close. This individual should possess strong NetSuite and Excel skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for automation and process improvement. This position reports directly to the Controller.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lead and manage full-cycle accounts receivable including invoicing, cash application, and collections<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oversee accounts payable to ensure timely and accurate vendor payments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review and support payroll processing and related account reconciliations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and key general ledger accounts on a monthly basis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare and post complex journal entries and support all aspects of the month-end and year-end close<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify and implement process improvements, focusing on simplification and automation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data across departments through collaboration<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support financial reporting, compliance efforts, and external audits<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in and\/or lead special projects, including systems upgrades or new integrations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qualifications<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a dynamic or high-growth environment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>NetSuite experience is required<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and general accounting principles<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrated success in identifying and implementing process enhancements and automation tools<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exceptional attention to detail and analytical abilities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qualifications<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>100% remote \u2013 candidates must be based in the U.S. and authorized to work in the U.S.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborative, high-performing, and supportive team culture<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Standard business hours with flexibility as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About Connectivity Standards Alliance<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Connectivity Standards Alliance is the foundation and future of the IoT.
